These are fake teeth that replace lost teeth. The type of prosthesis that should be used will depend on the number of missing teeth. That said, a fixed prosthesis will always be more comfortable for chewing, since unlike removable prostheses it doesn’t mandate an increased hygienic care that requires the patient to take out regularly in order to clean it, and it doesn’t retain food bits near as much.
