At our clinic, we employ a very simple procedure, which can be performed at home by the patient: what is called the “walking bleach” treatment. It’s based on the release of oxygen on the tooth through the application of carbamide peroxide, of which we offer several concentrations for a faster or slower process.
The treatment is quite simple. Using a model of your teeth, we build small silicon trays that the patient must wear for 3 hours a day, after filling the trays with the whitening product.
Once the treatment is done, the trays can be kept, in order to perform maintenance treatment after a year or whenever it becomes necessary for the patient.
For patients with highly sensitive teeth, we offer whitening products that have desensitizing substances in their composition, in order to avoid any unpleasant side effects.
The cost for the complete treatment, including color measuring , trays, enough whitening product for a month and a number of monitoring appointments is 360€ as a base price, though we frequently offer various promotions.
Whitening often lasts for many years, as long as the patient doesn’t have any habits that could stain his teeth, such as smoking; drinking too much coffee, tea, Coca-Cola, or red wine; or eating excessive amounts of red fruits, spinach, artichoke, and similar foods.
